Donald Gerard Grace
1949-2012
The death of Donald Gerard Grace, 63, of Williams Point, Antigonish Co., occurred Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Williams Point. Born in Antigonish, he was the son of the late Angus and Margaret(Fraser) Grace.
He was a heavy equipment operator most of his working life having worked with Tide Water Construction, Nova Construction,Colin R. MacDonald Construction, Zutphen Brothers Construction, William Brothers Construction and Seawood Grover.
He is survived by his wife, the former Colleen Elizabeth MacGillivray and daughter Donna Marie, at home. Brothers Doug (Theresa) Grace, St. Andrews, Antigonish Co.; Carl (Mary) Grace, Heatherton, Antigonish Co.; Bernard, South River, Antigonish Co.; Sisters Ann, South River; Mary Mattie, Monastery, Antigonish Co.; Jean(Robert) Vacheresse, James River, Antigonish Co.; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Alexander, Howard and Everett.
Visitation, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 in MacIsaac Funeral Hone, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Funeral Mass 11: 00 a.m. Saturday in St. Ninian’s Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Tom MacNeil presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
